Skipped…FAIL!

Okay I’m in a ground beef trance…just love the taste (again) after so many years.  Still getting used to the tongue coat of the fat, but no biggie so much.  I find that when I add another fat in with the beef and some lemon juice while cooking I get this neat emulsifying action sauce that forms and the fat doesn’t go solid so fast once it hits the cold plate.  Maybe I need to warm my plate before hand?

 

Ground beef, carrot, onion, mushroom, broccoli stir fry with olive and almond oil, lemon juice, cumin, pepper, red pepper flakes, salt, garlic powder, and Louisianna Hot Sauce.  Fresh basil leaves chopped on top.

Salad with romaine, onion, mushrooms, tomatoes and olive oil for dressing.  Lot of different fats present here.

one of my favorite fast food meals…there’s probably something hideous in it so I need to research how they prepare stuff but it was sure tasty!

Burger King:

 

2 sides of eggs

1 side of sausage

1 side of bacon

 

SO CHEAP when you order as sides instead of the bkfst sandwich hold the bread/cheese.

It’s about $3.00 for all that

Ground beef, mushroom, carrot, onion stir fry in almond oil (LOVE IT).  I haven’t been logging portion sizes which is probably important.  Most of the pan sized dinners I make are in a medium to large fry pan and it’s usually full or at least the bottom of the pan is covered in food.  So it’s a big portion.  Oil is about a sixth of a cup or a few tablespoons, but I don’t measure, just coat the bottom of the pan and add as I go cause I like the sauciness in the pan when it all mingles and comes together with spices etc.  Pan drippings are always poured on top once the food is plated. Maybe I’m eating too much oil?  Thoughts???

ground beef stir fry with carrot, broccoli, onion, mushrooms in almond oil.  I like the taste of almond oil with meats.  Splashed with a litttle olive oil and lemon juice dressing

1 chicken breast pan fried in coconut oil, then added broccoli, mushrooms, onions.  Salad with romaine tomato, onions and carrot.  Olive oil and lemon juice dressing.
